3D Software Engineer
Develop algorithms and user interface for 3D medical imaging software. Job duties include writing software for visualizing 3D volumetric imaging data read from DICOM files, developing geometric modeling algorithms and user interface for creating and manipulating 3D models from image data, preparing software documentation including the functional specifications and reference manual, providing technical support to customers.
• M.S. or Ph.D. in computer science, engineering or related field
• 6 months of related work experience
• Proficiency in MS VC++ programming, MFC, VTK.
• Must have knowledge of geometric modeling and algorithm development
• Experience with graphical user interface design
• Strong mathematical skill to solve geometric problems is a plus
• Experience in medical imaging is a plus
Application Engineer
• Bachelor's degree in science and engineering with good academic performance
• Must have 3D modeling software experience (e.g. 3D studio Max, Maya, Solidworks, AutoCAD)
• Strong software and technology knowledge
• Capable of understanding mathematics behind imaging and 3D geometry
• Capable of phone skills
• Capable of quickly learning clinical terms
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Good organization skills
• Good inter-personal skills
• Must be able to travel once a month
• Experience in the medical or dental industry is a plus
• Experience in radiology is a plus
